I use to explain to the students in my laboratory classes not to fudge results of measurements and experiments.  The truth–and I firmly believe this–is always more interesting regardless of what you may believe at first.

In a legal sense, assuming that you are behaving properly for sure, the truth is always your best friend even if rascals seem to be prevailing.  Trust the truth.

Telling the truth also happens to be inherently good for the soul, and that is what it is all about.

I have some difficulty with some of Bertrand Russell’s ideas.  But with this list of recommendations, I have no quibble:

Support whistleblowers and integrity workers!
